Plum Springs Baptist Church sits on 80 acres of beautiful land in a rural community. It is a church in the community, with the community at its heart. Our church is much more than a building. It is made up of people who love God and love one another. It is a place where everybody is somebody, and guests are always made to feel welcome in any of our church services and special events. Our main goal at PSBC is that you connect with Christ and fellow believers, have opportunities to grow in your faith, and are equipped to share the love of Jesus with others.
In an attempt to help you better understand what our church is about, we have attempted to answer some frequently asked questions.

Blended...a little of the old and a lot of the new. We enjoy both traditional and contemporary worship music. Our main objective, in any style of music, is to bring praise, honor , and glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
God - We believe that there is one God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus - We believe that Jesus is the Son of God who was born of a virgin, was wholly man, and wholly God, lived a sinless life, died in our place as a sacrifice for the sins of all mankind, was buried, rose from the grave, and ascended into Heaven. Jesus is seated at the right hand of God making intercession for us until He returns for those who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior.
Holy Spirit - We believe that God, the Holy Spirit, is active in convicting unbelievers of their sin and their need for salvation. He is the Comforter and Guide who lives in every believer.
Bible - We believe that the Bible is the inerrant and infallible Word of God and is the sole authority for life and faith.
Man - We believe that man is God's greatest creation, made in His image. Through the first man, Adam, sin entered the world. All men are sinners in need of salvation.
Salvation - We believe that salvation is a free gift of God. It is received when one repents of their sin toward God and places their faith in Jesus Christ who died on a cross to pay the penalty for every man's sin. Everyone who is truly saved, is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who die without their sins forgiven through Christ will spend eternity in Hell. After a person is saved, they are encouraged to follow the Lord's first command to be baptized, fully immersed in water, as a symbol of burying the old man and rising to live a new life in Christ.
The Church - We believe that the church is a local body of baptized believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Head of the Church.
